Carla Townsend

I am from La Crosse, and retired in 2007 as a Spanish and French teacher from the Holmen School district.  I have travelled to the Dominican Republic and Guatemala as an interpreter for medical missions.  Currently I am enrolled at Viterbo University in the Certification in Community Interpreting Program.  I love to read, travel and garden.   My husband, Allan, and I have been supporters of Mississippi Valley Conservancy for a long time.( maybe since it was established-can’t remember)  We also support many other environmental organizations.  I believe that it is so very important to be good steward of the earth and continue preserving our natural resources for generations to come.
