Jonathan Rigden

John Rigden works as a family physician at Franciscan Skemp Healthcare in La Crosse.  He grew up with five siblings in Baltimore, Boston, and Vermont, and then moved to St. Louis where he completed high school.  He returned to Baltimore for college at Johns Hopkins.  He then came back to the Midwest for medical school and residency at the University of Missouri at Columbia.  After residency he moved to Stuttgart, Germany in 1987 for four interesting years at a US military clinic, while seeing much of Europe with his family in his spare time.  In 1991 he moved to La Crosse.  He and his wife Ann have four children and one grandchild.  They own and cherish 93 acres near Cashton, Wisconsin, where they love to spend time exploring nature and enjoying the annual maple syrup festivities and honey harvest.  Jon joined the board of MVC in 2008.
