Warren Loveland
Warren grew up in Myrick Marsh, on Grandad’s bluff, Cliffwood and Seven Springs. I knew every inch of the La Crosse River, and the Mississippi back waters from Lock 7 to lock 8. Summers were YMCA camp Bradfield, Camp Decorah, a Jamboree, Philmont Scout Ranch and Boy Scout canoe fishing trips up north. Warren has a Bachelor of Business Administration from UW-Madison, Finance and Marketing. For 40 years I have developed apartment communities under various Federal and state agency programs. During this process I have received numerous grants and competitive funding allocations. I have done 2 Leaking Underground Storage Tank cleanups, 4 National Registry Historic Places adaptive reuse projects, and several flood plain removal developments.
I hope to help MVC preserve sensitive and rare sites, promote environmental and outdoor awareness, and increase public lands and access opportunities.
