Linked to the Land - Sweetheart Valentine's Snowshoe Hike sponsored by Mayo Clinic Health System
This family friendly snowshoe hike along the Kickapoo River is a fun way to celebrate Valentine’s Day and your love of the outdoors! Bring your loved-ones along and come explore what Kickapoo Bottoms has to offer, including 84 acres of scenic wetlands, grasslands, and woods as well as 4,700 feet of frontage on the Kickapoo River. The property protects many endangered plants and animals who call it home. The Conservancy has a limited number of snowshoes to use. Snowshoe size is based on body weight and you will need to call or email to reserve a pair.

From La Crosse, WI, head south on 35 passed Ferryville. Turn left onto 171 towards Gays Mills. In Gays Mills turn right onto 131 towards the Crawford Co. Fairgrounds. Turn right into the fairgrounds and continue straight. Parking is on the left near the corral.
