Join us to pull garlic mustard from 9 a.m.-Noon at Sugar Creek Bluff on Saturday, May 15th! We would love to have you out with us! Garlic mustard crowds out native plants that are needed by our natural communities of birds, butterflies, and beneficial insects. Please sign up below so we know you plan to attend. Sign-up limit: 10 people.

Pulling garlic mustard is easy, and it's a great activity for volunteers of any age! At this event, we will teach you how to identify, pull, and bag the plants. We will pull as much as we can in the time we have, and when we're done we will carry the full bags to our UTV, which will be parked nearby.

You will need: mask, gardening gloves, a hat, sturdy close-toed footwear, work clothes, safety glasses to protect your eyes from brush, a bag lunch and water (if you'd like to go on a self-guided hike to explore the property after), and bug/sun protection. We will bring some extra gloves and safety glasses if you do not have your own.

Carpooling may be possible for those who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Please contact Siena if you need a ride or can offer a ride from our office.

Sign up is now closed!
