Hike to Wellness
Promoting the well-being of people and their environment
We’re excited about our Hike to Wellness program! It’s an employee health and fitness program we designed to bring people and nature together. There are 10 program hikes and two bonus hikes, all are on land protected by us at Mississippi Valley Conservancy. The brochure below includes directions, a description of each of the hikes and a log to chart your progress.
If your company would like to get involved, please call our outreach coordinator, Kathy Frise, at 608 784-3606 or email [email protected].

Enjoy a hike through nature preserves
Every year, hundreds of people enjoy hikes on our nature preserves. We sponsor several outdoor events on our conserved land, including a “Linked to the Land” hike along the Kickapoo River, stargazing events and guided nature hikes. Opportunities also abound for bird watching, biking, nature photography, fishing and hunting.
