Your support fuels hands-on restoration work across the bluffs, prairies, wetlands, woodlands, and working lands we protect in our nine-county service area.

• Restore critical habitat through prescribed burns, prairie and savanna management, and targeted invasive species removal.

• Rebuild wetlands that improve water quality, reduce flooding, and create vital breeding grounds for frogs, waterfowl, and other wildlife.

• Enhance oak woodlands and bluff prairies—ecosystems that support rare plants, migrating birds, and pollinators.

• Support long-term stewardship of more than 30 nature preserves across nine counties, ensuring trails, habitats, and public access remain safe and healthy.

• Plant native species that strengthen biodiversity and provide food and shelter for wildlife throughout the year.

• Monitor and protect conserved lands using science-driven methods and volunteer engagement to ensure these lands remain protected forever.

• Advance climate resilience by restoring natural systems that store carbon, filter water, and support ecological stability.
